There is also a screenshot of the tool. If you want to download an older version or see what files are available, check the download directory.

Installation guide:

  1. Unzip all packages into the same directory (e.g. "/home/john/cocompose").
  2. UN*X users (Linux, MacOS X, ...), please run the "CoCompose.sh" script from the command line the first time, so that you can answer some configuration questions:
    1. cd path/to/cocompose
    2. ./CoCompose.sh
  3. Windows users can use the "CoCompose.bat" startup script to run CoCompose. Un*x users can use the "CoCompose.sh" script.

There is also a mailing list for CoCompose . You can post any questions you have to this list. New version announcements will also be posted through this list. You can also browse through the mailing list archives to see if your question has been discussed before.

CVS:

CoCompose is also available through CVS. CVS is a way of storing and tracking changes in the code between releases. The CoCompose source code is kept in CVS and the CVS always has the latest code, features and bugfixes, but also the latest bugs. Unless you know what you're doing and you really need the latest snapshot, you should use the normal release version (explained above). The CVS code is provided "as is" and may not work.

The CVS can be accessed as follows:

  • cvs -d :pserver:anonymous@ssel.vub.ac.be:/cvsroot login
(Just hit ENTER for the password)
  • cvs -z3 -d :pserver:anonymous@ssel.vub.ac.be:/cvsroot checkout cocompose
(This should download the files into your current directory (e.g. /home/dennis))
You can import the downloaded module in Eclipse as an existing project.
