===== Job description =====

Viviane Jonckers (1955) received a master degree in Computer Science from the [[http://www.vub.ac.be/|Vrije Universiteit Brussel]] in 1983 and a Ph.D. degree in Sciences from the same university in 1987. Since 1987 she is a professor both in the [[http://dinf.vub.ac.be/|Computer Science Department]] of the [[http://we.vub.ac.be/|faculty of Sciences]] as in the [[http://infoweb.vub.ac.be/|Computer Science group]] of the [[http://wwwtw.vub.ac.be/|Engineering Faculty]]. Currently, she is director of the System and Software Engineering Lab. Her current research interests are in integrated software development methods with a focus on component based software development and aspect oriented software development. She participated in and has been project manager of several national and international R&D projects.
